PhraGumpang WatPhraBaromtarth b.e.2546(a.d.2003)

Pose of marn-vichai(Conquer evil/darness) with Buddha's right hand over his right knee. PhraRuang's name is given regarding the one and only dynasty "PhraRuang" which ruled over Sukhothai's era. Later, a famous Buddha given name PhraRuang made and amulets with the name spread through generations. PhraRuang original words come from "Ruangroath" or "RungRoath" in Thai which mean prosperity. Nangkaokwang given regard the mold style of Buddha which mean meditation sitting pose with wide knees.

PhraGumpang or PhraKru is an old art of Buddha amulet of Gumpangpeth province style, buried, kept safe under pits of pagodas for centuries by elders guru monks.
